About the role:
Samsara’s R&D team is growing, and the R&D Learning & Development team is too. We are looking for a Senior R&D Enablement Specialist to play a key role in designing, developing, and executing our global R&D Onboarding program and other new learning programs for the R&D team. Our focus is on alignment and effectiveness, creating impactful programs that enable R&D organizational excellence. As we implement and experiment, we will evolve, fine-tune and identify how to scale.

In this role, you will:
- Collaborate on and develop various R&D learning initiatives with other R&D Learning & Development team members and in partnership with vendors.
- Help to establish the R&D Onboarding program and build a comprehensive curriculum.
- Contribute to operational excellence by creating, optimizing, identifying, and recommending methods to streamline processes, tools and templates.
- Coordinate logistics for learning and events, coordinating course enrollment and materials.
- Measure, track, and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives and programming using data to drive decisions.
- Partner with stakeholders, SMEs, senior leaders and external consultants.
- Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices
Minimum requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of experience managing learning and development programs.
- Experience in personally developing and managing learning programs for global audiences.
- Success building and implementing programs and processes, and operational plans.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional partners.
