Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Ads Ranking - USDS

About the team

The ads system at TikTok USDS operates on a massive scale and serves millions of advertisers, clients and influencers across the world. The quality of the ads system highly depends on the ability to handle massive data, and machine learning is widely used to improve the quality of our ads. The Ads machine learning data platform team is responsible for building highly efficient and stable infrastructure to collect and process data for the usage of machine learning training, serving, and privacy enforcement, including feature engineering, feature store, training data generation, etc.



We are looking for an innovative Software Engineer to join the team. You will provide technical leadership to key projects and empower the team.



In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. We regularly review our hybrid work model, and the specific requirements may change at any time.



Responsibilities:

- Lead projects committed to building and operating scalable and reliable Ads ranking infrastructure systems.

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members and project peers.

- Communicate cross-functionally across various teams, organizations and internal and external stakeholders to drive engineering efforts.

- Lead the innovation efforts, and bring in new ideas and technologies.
