Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and four (4) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Grade 7 (Salaried).

Position Description:

The Manager, Unit Finance Administration (Director of Financial Analysis) will be responsible for oversight of certain business functions of the University of Louisville Athletic Department, including accounts receivable, budget oversight, monthly projections, ticket reconciliation and processing, and annual external reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide oversight of essential business functions, including accounts receivable, budget oversight, monthly projections, ticket reconciliation and processing, and annual external reporting.

  • Oversee full-time business office staff as assigned.

  • Assist with the preparation and completion of the annual NCAA AUP & EADA financial reports.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of Athletics' business operations.

  • Provide detailed financial analysis as needed to assist in department financial projections and decision-making.

  • Assist in proactively monitoring department budgets to ensure compliance with Board-approved targets.

  • Assist coaches and department heads with annual budget preparation.

  • Serve as Athletics liaison to campus constituents as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) or more years of related work experience as a collegiate Business Manager or a similarly related business function position within a collegiate athletic department.

  • Master’s degree in business, finance, sport administration, or a related field.

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Workday, and Archtics, or similarly comparable finance and ticketing software programs.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, including verbal and written.

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
