We are seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team on a consultancy basis and support the clinical support needs of our MassHealth funded Day Habilitation Programs.

Job Summary

Responsible to provide high quality physical therapy assessments, Inter-Disciplinary Team participation, and training for direct support professionals at American Training. Incorporation of the WOW! Principles into all aspects of our work life.

Key Responsibilities

Complete physical therapy assessments on Guests in all American Training Day Habilitation programs upon admittance to the program and then every two years or if there is a decline in baseline level of functioning.
Provide clinical oversight /supervision to the Physical Therapy Assistant.
Provide Colleague training as needed.
Comply with documentation requirements.
Review and sign all doctor's orders and supportive and protective device forms.
Monitor adaptive equipment and write letters of justification needed for any wheelchair modification or new wheelchair order(s).
Consult with families and/or Colleagues as needed.
