Medical Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate team member to operate in a hybrid Medical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator role to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and have a keen interest in the field of medical aesthetics. You will play a vital dual role in ensuring our patients have a positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Medical Assistant Key Responsibilities:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to safety protocols.
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and other relevant information.
• Educate patients about procedures, post-care instructions, and skincare regimens.
• Manage patient scheduling, follow-up appointments, and maintain medical records.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance the patient experience.
• Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Optimize scheduling to ensure efficient and timely coordination of appointments, consultations, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records, including consultations, sales, and follow-up communications.
• Facilitate seamless coordination between clinical teams and patients for a consistent patient journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen
• Superior organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
• Strong background in patient education and customer service, with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
