Job Description
The Director – Support Services is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the supply chain operations within MUSC Pee Dee region (including Florence, Black River, and Marion). This includes managing logistics, inventory management, distribution, and ensuring the timely and efficient flow of medical supplies, equipment, and other essential materials to support clinical and operational activities. The director will lead initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and maintaining high standards of service quality while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Additional Job Description
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (required).
- Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within the healthcare industry or equivalent education.
- Proven track record of managing complex supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
- Experience in managing supply chain technologies (Workday preferred).
