Job Description
The home health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides one on one therapeutic treatment and care to patients in their home using a comprehensive and patient specific care plan, developed by the physical therapist within the confines of the State of Washington practice act. The PTA will work in tandem with a full team of healthcare professionals including physical therapists, nurses, social workers and aides to promote the patient’s return to health and facilitate independence in their home.
Qualifications
What is required...
- Current PTA license through the Washington State Department of Health
- Current CPR card (maintenance required)
- Reliable transportation and automobile liability insurance
- Valid WA State Driver’s License
What is preferred...
- Previous experience as a PTA in a Home Health setting
Additional Information
Wage: Wage range currently starts at $28.01/hour and goes up to $42.46/hour. Actual wage will be based on years' of applicable experience.
FTE: 1.0 = 40 hours/week
Benefits: This position is benefits eligible
