Key Responsibilities

• Keep It Spotless: Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the restaurant to maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead the Team: Delegate tasks, set expectations, and guide staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Coach & Correct: Evaluate performance, provide feedback, and implement disciplinary actions when necessary.
• Guest Whisperer: Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and warmth, turning challenges into positive experiences.
• Service with Style: Champion the Caesars Family Style Service model to create memorable moments for guests and team members.
• Flex & Adapt: Take on additional duties as assigned—because no two days are ever the same.

Supervisory Scope

You’ll directly supervise the Beach Café team, carrying out leadership duties in line with Tropicana Entertainment’s standards. This includes:

• Interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members
• Scheduling and assigning daily tasks
• Assisting with performance reviews and offering recognition
• Addressing team concerns and resolving operational issues

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3–6 months of experience in a similar restaurant, hotel, or casino setting
• Familiarity with company policies, fire safety, and sanitation procedures

Certifications & Licenses

• Must hold and maintain a valid Health Card, Liquor License, and any other certifications required by local regulations

Communication Skills

• Strong English communication skills—able to write simple correspondence and confidently interact with guests and team members in small group settings

Tech Know-How

• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and POS systems
