This position is in Ogden, UT and supports the Sentinel program.

What you'll get to do:
The Manufacturing Operations Manager 2 is accountability to the Manufacturing Operations Manager 3. As the Manager of Manufacturing Operations 2, your team will oversee and manage the manufacturing and operational aspects of multiple manufacturing, production, and prototyping at the Ogden Manufacturing Facility (OMF)in Ogden, Utah. Your team will be responsible for the safety of the employees, delivering quality products on time and within customer cost targets while maintaining a culture of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate should demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing foundational processes, encompassing knowledge of shop floor processes and best practices (FOD/FOE control, ESD practices, 5S, Tool & Property control etc.), efficient material flow, product life cycle management, cost center structuring, manufacturing execution systems (MES) knowledge, product configuration management, traceability and government approval procedures for sell-off.
In addition, the candidate will provide the people, skills, processes & training for successful achievement of program and division goals in the manufacturing and production environment. They will manage and present status on cost, schedule, and performance for all projects within the area; assess issues and develop mitigation plans to meet productivity, quality, cost, and delivery goals.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree with a minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience, master’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience, or 4 years of relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2+ years of relevant experience in engineering or manufacturing.
1+ years of experience leading manufacturing, production, or manufacturing integration.
Must have U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain an interim Secret Security level clearance pre-start, with the ability to obtain a final Secret Security level clearance post-start.
Must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
1+ years of experience managing or leading people or projects.
Experience leading manufacturing/production/integration & test teams in a production environment.
A proven track record of developing and implementing strategies for change.
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Manufacturing, Program, Engineering, Functional Support Management, and Professionals
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
