How you'll contribute
A Food & Nutritional Services Coordinator who excels in this role:
- In cooperation with the Director of Food Service or in the absence of, maintains all policies and procedures for department, equipment operation/maintenance, and clinical practice consistent with food service regulations and best-practice standards.
- Responsible for maintaining unit quality control logs.
- May assist with developing and maintaining staff schedules and timekeeping.
- Composes, types, and transcribes correspondence, forms, reports, presentation materials and other written communications.
- Maintains assigned calendar(s).
- Maintains files and office equipment. Assists Director with food ordering and stocking supplies.
- May act as a resource and maintains rapport with staff and providers.
- Understands fully the job descriptions of the Food Service Staff to function in this role.
- Capable of filling the role in event of staffing shortages or call-ins of the cook/baker or assisting the cook/baker in food preparation and distribution, food storage and sanitation. (Call office, delivery host, cook, cafe or prep).

What we're looking for
Food & Nutritional Services Coordinator:
Education: High School Diploma required.
Requirements:
Six months food service experience preferred
Ability to be ServSafe Certified within 6 months of hire. Also must re-certify every 3 years.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
