Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building materials company, is seeking a Full-Time Accounts Payable Specialist for the Corporate office in Clearwater, Florida.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Accounts Payable relating to inventory
• Organize emails from vendors and prepare for payment
• Match vendor invoices with purchase order receiving and research discrepancies
• Code and enter all Payables, including expenses, into system
• Handle weekly check run
• File paid Accounts Payables
• Review open purchase orders and research with the Purchasing and Receiving departments
• Review purchase order receipts with no vendor invoices
• Review vendor invoices with no purchase order receipts
• Review pre-paid purchases with no receipts and/or invoices 
• Process Inter-Company payments and copy Billing department for pass-through expenses
• Research vendor statements
• Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times
• All other duties as assigned

Experience Required:

• 2-5 years of experience or education

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong customer service, analysis, and problem resolution skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Must be a team player
• Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in computer programs including Microsoft Excel and Word
