The Business
ADI’s Multimarket power business is the key provider of power solutions serving the breadth of ADI’s end markets. As part of a long term sustainable growth plan, ADI is expanding its power team in Ireland, supporting the development of highly integrated power solutions. Multimarket power BU will present the successful candidate a great opportunity for continuous career development as part of a highly motivated and supportive worldwide engineering team.
The Team
The Industrial Power Systems (IPS) Design team has the mission to expand ADI’s current portfolio of power devices, innovating through for example addition of new smart control features, and integrated digital configurability, as well as driving next generation protection solutions for higher power systems. The team is growing its power solutions, to complement the existing mixed signal products and advance towards cutting-edge technologies.
The IPS organization is looking for a motivated and experienced IC Evaluation Engineer who can seamlessly transition from board design to measurement validation while proficiently working with automation and coding scripts. The candidate will be working with experts in the power engineering team on industry leading DC-DC converter evaluation, and will interact with other teams like application and test.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Manage laboratory space and equipment, responsible for keeping all equipment calibration up-to-date.
- Development of innovative hardware and software measurement solutions for a range of integrated circuit products.
- Execution of the design evaluation development process including the development phases of Silicon Functionality, Sampling, Characterization and Correlation.
- Work with Design Engineers in defining & developing measurement methods and plans to fully evaluate new products
