Tradition Hospital’s 4-bed level 2 Pediatrics Unit provides compassionate care to our youngest patients. By joining the Pediatrics team as an RN, you will deliver exceptional care throughout the patient care journey. Some of your daily responsibilities will include obtaining vital signs, performing assessments, assisting parents, and providing education. You will also float to the NICU to assist with feeder growers, babies learning to bottle feed before being discharged. In this role, it will be your goal to ensure patient safety and provide quality care all while being a part of an elite healthcare organization.

A caregiver in this position works days from 7:00AM – 7:30PM.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Provide direct nursing care.
Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
Educate patients and their families.
