Industrial Machine Maintenance Mechanic (Food Manufacturer), Bronx, NY

FlexStaff is looking for a skilled Machine Maintenance Mechanic to join our client, a leading food manufacturer in the Bronx. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexible shifts to meet production needs. Typical hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, but alternative shifts like 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM may be available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production machinery (e.g., conveyors, mixers, ovens).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Assist with installation, upgrades, and modifications of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize efficiency and product quality.
• Respond to equipment failures during regular and off-hours.

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
