Your Role:
As the Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you’ll design, develop and test vehicle software. You’ll be also working with suppliers to make sure diagnostics are implemented according to standards.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality C/C++/Python code in an embedded microcontroller environment
- Lead software unit/HIL/vehicle test and diagnostic
- Ensure software release is on time and aligned with company schedule to deliver production ready motor control embedded software to vehicle assembly
- Analyze code to ensure quality and well organized software components
- Rapidly prototype embedded software designs to improve the speed of software/hardware development
- Collaborate with company software infrastructure group on Functional Safety (ISO-26262) activities
- Follow coding standards to meet MISRA compliant, AUTOSAR recommendation
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or similar
- Work independently and take ownership
- Low-level embedded C/C++ program development, and debug. Generic ARM/PIC based microprocessors experience a plus
- Experience with bootloader, embedded operating systems, controller communication or diagnostics
- 5+ years development applicable to diagnostics
- Experience with CAN/LIN/UDS protocols

- Reading schematics

- Experience developing embedded systems for either consumer or automotive markets
- Familiar with motor control
Annual Salary Range:
$113,000 to $141,000, plus benefits and incentive plans
