ARSIEM is looking for a Network Systems Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction, MD.
 
 

Responsibilities

• Use Network Engineering, System Administrator, and command line Linux skills to maintain a full and robust multi-server network
• Manage the overall operational health of a customer network; must be a self-starter to lead technical efforts across organizations
• Support the design and infrastructure of the network with a future overhaul planned
• Thorough knowledge of Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN), Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system compliance
• Create and maintain accounts, troubleshooting at all levels

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 10 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
• Current experience with management of virtualized infrastructure, including multi-node and multi-site networks
• Recent experience with Linux and Windows operating systems (command line a must)
• Recent experience with containerization, Docker, and/or Kubernetes a plus

Clearance Requirement: This position requires an active TS/SCI with a polygraph. You must be a US Citizen for consideration. Candidate Referral: Do you know someone who would be GREAT at this role?
