Responsibilities:

Supervision and Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a team of production employees during the 2nd shift.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team members perform their duties effectively.

Production Oversight:

  • Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of manufacturing tasks.
  • Collaborate with the production planning team to optimize workflow and meet production targets.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular inspections and address any deviations from quality standards promptly.

Safety Compliance:

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
  • Work closely with the continuous improvement team to implement best practices

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, with a preference for experience in injection molding or plastics.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to promoting a safe working environment.
