What are we looking for?

We are looking for an experienced SRE well-versed in SaaS or cloud engineering environments who can drive large scale infrastructure with focus on operational excellence and the deployment lifecycle in highly regulated regions. As a Site Reliability Engineer, your primary responsibility will be the stability, reliability, and scalability of SentinelOne’s products and services. You will also help keep our uptime promise to customers by making sure we meet our SLOs. In this job, you will have an amazing opportunity to help design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure, complex distributed systems, and related areas such as monitoring and automation. 

Someone who has driven continuous deployment, has run incident post-mortems, has provided feedback to engineering architecture decisions and has automated repetitive operational tasks would be a great fit. You will join a like minded team of awesome SRE engineers who help run our systems smoothly at scale. We value good written communication skills, data driven decisions, and a keen eye for continuous improvements. You’ll help simplify, have a passion for new ideas, and know how to execute iteratively towards the final goal. We value candor and collaboration. 

  • 15+ years experience in software engineering or related work experience in a production environment
  • 5+ years experience in Site Reliability Engineering, preferably with a large scale SaaS product or large cloud-based distributed system
  • 5+ years working with various cloud providers, including deep experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS and GCP preferred)
  • 5+ years implementing containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, automated deployment frameworks and CI/CD, and complex distributed systems
  • Experience with deployment strategies such as blue green, rolling deploys, and canary deploys
  • 5+ years developing monitoring and alerting, including experience with SLI/SLO
  • 3+ years creating automation, configuration management and IaC with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, or similar
  • Experience programming in one or more of the following languages: C, C++, Java, Python, Go, Perl, or Ruby
  • Experience supporting a 24/7 on-call rotation including participating and/or leading large scale incident response

locations, a different pay range may apply.  If so, this range will be provided to you during the recruiting

Base Salary Range$186,000—$255,000 USD
