Job Description

We are hiring a new consultant to work with one of our clients in the banking industry as part of their Technology EQD team. 

Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Resolve daily FO issues on both functional, valuation, and pricing
• Liaise with the technical team(s) -- when needed -- to resolve FO related issues and necessary enhancements
• Develop FO Business requirements according to Project needs as they come along
• EQD Products onboarding, management and validation
• Manage day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various FO deliverables
• Contribute and assist existing support group(s) in resolving requests or issues with P&L, Market Data, and booking issues
• Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables
• Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)

Qualifications

Required skills:

• Very strong product knowledge in EQD
• Strong understanding of the P&L concept overall and its components
• Very Strong understanding and hands-on experience in Market Data ( Volatilies smile) Simulations, and Trade Life Cycle
• Strong analytical, pricing, and conceptual skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong presentation skills
• Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally
• Strong experience in supporting FO users and resolving their daily issues
• 4+ years experience on Murex with FO functionalities/modules or at least similar platforms such as Calypso, Finastra, ION
• Experience in financial markets
• Must have logical and analytical skills
• Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and a self-starter
• Good verbal and written communication skills

The salary range for this role is US$90,000 - US$190,000
