We believe everyone should be able to develop, succeed, and be themselves – while building shared success together.​ <strong>For a better game</strong> – and a better working life.<br/><br/><strong><u>Experienced Digital Data Analyst</u></strong></p> <p>We are looking for a Digital Data Analyst to join our Digital &amp; Customer Analytics team to develop Veikkaus’ app and web analytics — not only by building analytics capabilities, but also by enabling their effective use and proactively supporting the business. This is a permanent, full-time position in our Operational Analytics &amp; Insight unit.</p> <p>The unit supports especially Veikkaus' business functions in the utilization of AI, analytics and reporting, as well as building the capabilities for whole Veikkaus group together with our other DA teams. </p> <p>Our digital channels have an average of over a million unique visitors weekly, and hundreds of millions of gaming events annually. The importance of the application keeps on growing, and developing its analytics is one of the key focuses of the Digital Data Analyst’s tasks.</p> <p><strong>Digital Data Analysts’ activities focus on two broader areas</strong>: those activities that will move under the license in the future (betting games, casino) and those that will remain under the monopoly (lottery, eInstant). In addition, there are also corporate related tasks and stakeholders. We are looking for a Digital Data Analyst whose area of responsibility is divided between license and corporate tasks.</p> <p>With the upcoming legislative changes, digital channels and analytics tracking will be significantly reformed. You get to participate in discussions about the web analytics tools used, plan the implementation of tracking together with your work partner, carry out the implementation, and develop reporting and information sharing practices. In addition, you will participate in discussions about the legal implementation of tracking and the use of cookies as well as analyze customer behavior, visitor paths, and content effectiveness, for example.</p> <p>You will collaborate with professionals across diverse domains — including business stakeholders, developers (both application and front-end), content creators, and designers — to ensure impactful and data-driven outcomes. </p> <p>You will also support app and web analytics self-service by training Veikkaus staff in the use of tools and helping them build reports. You follow up closely what happens in the web analytics field and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, laws and regulations affecting it.</p> <p>As a Digital Data Analyst, you are in a key position to develop Veikkaus’ digital analytics role, promote data-driven decision making, and support the culture of data-drivenness among internal stakeholders.</p> <p><strong>We expect from you:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in using, implementing, and testing app and web analytics with Google tools (Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Firebase)</li> <li>Understanding of technologies used in app an web development, as well as e-commerce analytics</li> <li>Hands-on experience with data layers, and a basic understanding of JavaScript and SQL</li> <li>Fluent English, Finnish preferrable but not mandatory</li> <li>A proactive and self-driven mindset with curiosity to identify stakeholder needs </li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across roles and functions</li> <li>A service-oriented attitude and the confidence to actively present ideas </li> <li>Experience working in fast-paced, competitive business environments where data plays a key role in decision-making</li> <li>Bonus: Familiarity with databases, TypeScript, other analytics tools (e.g. Adobe Analytics), Google BigQuery, Power BI, A/B testing, and digital marketing</li> <li>In this role, you will be expected to actively contribute ideas for improving our operations and continuously develop yourself as both an expert and a colleague by staying up to date with the latest technologies, legislation, and best practices in digital analytics</li> </ul> <p><strong>We offer you</strong>: A wealth of data, interesting and challenging tasks, and competitive employee benefits.
