Global Procurement is responsible for all procurement activities within Vestas, including leading cross functional category teams, negotiations and contract management, local content supplier development, development of end-2-end cost out initiatives, category strategy development and supplier relationship management.

 

Responsibilities

• Lead Taiwan local content supplier development in areas like strategy making and execution by working closely with key stakeholders, supplier base screening, commercial contract negotiations, continuous cost out etc.

• Overall responsible for supplier performance and relationship management (SRM), cost management,  supply chain risk management which are relevant to SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost)

• Deliver the business review meetings and supplier account plan with suppliers

• Promote the KPIs: local content target, EBIT, continuous cost out initiatives technically and commercially through the whole value chain, PPV etc

 

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge and exposure to strategic procurement or a degree in either business or engineering

• Proven record of significant stakeholder management skills incl. experience with communication on executive level

• Professional communication skills including fluent English skills
