Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to design, implement, and maintain information technology systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of system solutions.

• Perform requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Develop system architecture and oversee integration and testing activities.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

• Collaborate with software, hardware, and network engineers to ensure seamless system performance.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

• Evaluate new technologies and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• 8+ years of experience in systems engineering or a related role.

• Strong understanding of systems architecture, integration, and testing.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and leadership skills.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred:

• Experience in government or defense contracting environments.

• Knowledge of cybersecurity and risk management practices.

• Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.

Salary Range: $46.35 - $81.11
