RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Director, Fleet Services to join our team. We are challenging the status quo by shining light on radiology and making it a critical first step in diagnosis and proper treatment. Come join us and shine brighter together! As a Director, Fleet Services, you will be responsible for the fleet infrastructure that supports the delivery of health services to clients. This role manages, directs and ensures quality control of team members and activities for Fleet Services Department.

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


(40%) Operations Management

  1. Establishes and maintains operating practices and Fleet Policies
  2. Ensures mobile units are delivered to their next locations safely and reliably
  3. Ensures high reliability of trucks and of coach environmental systems, including a/c, chiller, generator, hydraulic lift, etc.
  4. Ensures long-term life and quality of trucks and coaches by maintaining proper Preventative Maintenance (PM)
  5. Ensures customer sites meet applicable Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Site Planning Guidelines, including Facility Guideline Codes (FGC) Codes
  6. Meets regularly with Fleet Services Managers to review fleet operations in terms of financial and strategic performance
  7. Maximizes company systems such as SmartSheet and Excel spreadsheets as their capabilities pertain to Fleet.
  8. Ensure DOT compliance is maintained at 100%
    1. Ensure managers maintain DOT classes/continuing education to remain compliant.
    2. Ensure miles are logged in MN to maintain our operating authority

(30%) Budget & Expense Management

  1. Evaluates 'make versus buy' opportunities such as: HVAC repair, coach repair
  2. Reviews and approves expenditures, travel and expense reports, billing information, payroll timesheets and monthly financial statements of assigned locations to ensure adherence to company guidelines and budgets
  3. Prepares annual Fleet transportation and equipment maintenance operating and capital budgets; manage business within budget
  4. Ensures actual expenses are in line with budgeted expenses
(20%) Team Member Leadership & Development
  1. Demonstrate strong leadership skills and abilities, remaining approachable and objective
  2. Manage all hiring and retention processes, responsible for initial and ongoing training of new & existing team members
  3. Initiate and participate in team member performance evaluations, compensation, and development, and conduct performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and/or up to termination if necessary
  4. Facilitate and lead regular team meetings and team member one-on-one (1:1) meeting's with each direct report team member and ensure your direct report leaders are doing the same.
  5. Mentor and support team members, encouraging a culture of collaboration, compensation & HR systems excellence, accountability, and continuous learning and improvement
  6. Determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths
(10%) Other Duties and Projects as Assigned
Qualifications

Required:

  1. High school diploma, or equivalent
  2. Associate degree in a related field, or the equivalent in relevant and applicable experience
  3. Five (5) years' experience of working in fleet services and related activities
  4. Three (3) years' supervisory experience
  5. Ability to work on-call, and/or 7 days per work week, given company requirements; in compliance with state and/or other specific labor laws
  6. The ability to travel is required; a reliable means of transportation is required
  7. Valid driver's license and proof of current insurance is required for the team member to personally drive a vehicle for company business (regardless of whether it's a company or personal vehicle)
Preferred:
  1. Bachelor's degree in a related and relevant field
  2. Two (2) years' of experience with fleet admin
