Anakeesta is hiring for an Entertainment Operations Supervisor.  The Entertainment Operations Supervisor has an important part in maintaining the quality of the park entertainment as a dynamic, fun, exciting, and memorable experience for our guests. This individual will be responsible for supervising all aspects of their assigned performance activations, events, artists, and theatrical shows presented to our guests throughout the season. It is the Entertainment Operations Supervisor’s job to oversee the overall satisfaction of any given event for our guests at Anakeesta.  

Responsibilities 

• Plan and organize entertainer rehearsal and performance schedules in accordance with managerial staff goals 

• Research appropriate entertainment bookings as directed by managerial staff  

• Handle, coordinate and oversee cast and crews of various activations 

• Assists with other production staff on all aspects of the show/event creation and production process 

• Maintains operating and labor hour budgets for areas of responsibility. Ensures that areas of responsibility operate within approved budgets 

• Maintains entertainment staff time keeping for payroll purposes 

• Maintains show integrity and acts as a conduit to the Stage Manager and/or Director of Entertainment regarding any performance issues 

• Ensure the needs and safety of our entertainers when they arrive for each day of operation 

• Responsible for addressing any conflicts that arise with entertainment employees that they supervise 

• Will work with all levels of Anakeesta to ensure smooth operation from execution to completion 

• Assists in other areas of entertainment as needed, for install and strike of seasonal events 

• Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner 

• Analyze and evaluate event attendee feedback 

• Oversee Astra Lumina walking trail operations as needed 

• Other duties may be assigned 

• 2 years of experience in entertainment supervision, event management, or similar role 

• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with senior management, employees and vendors to accomplish goals and resolve problems 

• Must possess strong attention to detail, time management skill, and driven to meet strict deadlines as applicable 

• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success 

• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills 

• Team player 

• Good time-management and organizational skills 

• Great interpersonal and communication skills 

• Valid Drivers' license 

• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs 

• Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law 

• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law 

• Willingness to complete CPR/AED training
