Currently, ManTech seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager - Software Quality Assurance with a background in the Department of State, Bureau of Consular Affairs to provide technical and management leadership on major tasks and technology assignments.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead major technology assignments.
  • Evaluate performance results and recommend major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
  • Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
  • Successfully manage quality programs with large numbers of personnel, equipment, and customers geographically dispersed.
  • Effectively and efficiently manage the program QC Plan.
  • Analyze data and brief senior leadership.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree
  • Active certification in either SAFe Agilist (SA) or SAFe Government Practitioner (SGP)
  • A minimum of (10) ten years of experience
  • A minimum of (3) three years of experience with scrum on a large scale
  • A minimum of (3) three years of experience with creating and running automated tests to enable CI and CD and/or with CI/CD implementation in support of DevOps
  • A minimum of four years of experience in all phases of QA cycle (Waterfall and Agile)
  • Demonstrated knowledge in Quality Control and Quality Assurance
  • Advanced understanding of QA/QC approaches, methods, management, metrics, and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of statistical methods, ISO 9000 standard, Lean Six Sigma, and other quality methodologies
  • Quality management experience in contingency support operations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and MS Project
  • Knowledge of practical application of information operations for military operations

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise with Remedy, Collaborative Life Cycle Management Tools (IBM CLM), SharePoint, or similar tools.
  • A minimum of (2) two years of experience with creating and running automated methods to deploy software products into the production environment.
  • A minimum of (2) two years of experience of managing multiple QA analysts running multiple QA cycles.
  • Certified Manager in Software Testing or an equivalent testing certification

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • A current Top Secret (TS) clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
