The Licensed Mental Health Professional provides 24-hour mental health emergency and crisis intervention services. This role involves collaborating with other mental health professionals in a 24/7 coverage rotation to ensure access to clinical services and support. Key responsibilities include conducting mental health assessments, offering brief psychotherapy, managing discharges, and addressing clinical issues within crisis stabilization and receiving programs. The position also requires evaluating the need for hospitalization, providing consultation to families and care providers, implementing evidence-based practices, and maintaining timely and accurate clinical records.

Qualifications
This role requires an understanding of Trauma-Informed Care and proficiency in mental health assessment and crisis intervention. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and cultural competency are also essential.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited college with a master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or another related degree.
- Valid MT Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Certification as a Mental Health Professional Person (MHPP) or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months.
- Minimum of one year (1) related experience
- Ability to pass a background check upon offer of employment
- Must reside in the state of Montana
