Brown & Brown is looking for a Marketing Representative to join our Employee Benefits team in Alpharetta, GA! This individual will partner with our sales and service team in the preparation and execution of marketing proposals and renewal material for new and existing clients!
This team is currently working in a hybrid capacity with work from home opportunities after a probationary period.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Work with Producers and Account Managers through the renewal process to complete marketing in the 2-50, 51-99 and 100+ market segments
- Obtain quotes and claims experience from various carriers and carrier systems
- Assemble in draft and final form request for proposals and summary of all marketing proposals in Excel/PowerPoint
- Individual should be a subject matter expert with regard to benefit programs, and must work in tandem with the Producers and Account Managers to implement strategies relative to placement of insurance
- Handle a diverse range of insurance products in the Employee Benefit arena including health, ancillary and worksite products
- Ability to lead the implementation process for new lines of coverage or change in carrier
- Direct carrier negotiations on behalf of the benefits team in regards to marketing and placement of coverage with direction from Producer
- Daily contact with Insurance carriers and authority in decision making and negotiations on behalf of the benefit team and clients
- Work with Producers and Account managers to develop proposals for potential new accounts and new products
- Set up and maintain Group Agency files, assist with the maintenance of the Group Accounts within ImageRight
- Attend all departmental service meetings.
- Assist with training of new Group Marketing Representatives
- Assist with implementation of new group/carrier business
- Assist with various projects as assigned by the Employee Benefits Leader
- Coordinate meetings between office and carrier partners
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 2+ years of generalist employee benefits experience
- Active Life Accident and Health Insurance License
- Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite, emphasis on excel
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, required
