The Transactions & Underwriting Senior Associate will be responsible for underwriting and valuating granular and asset back non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios; creating and carrying out portfolio reporting and analysis for investors and important stakeholders; evaluating and creating business plans and overseeing both internal and external advisory teams.
Being part of transaction & underwriting team, the role is responsible for:
- Conducting portfolio underwriting and valuation for international strategic investors & funds;
- Creating underwriting business plans and developing different workout strategies;
- Creating stratification analysis for investors and purchase price valuations on different scenarios;
- Conducting project management and having a holistic command of the project, coordinating a team of Real Estate, Legal, Transaction, other advisors;
- Coordinating and producing reports and portfolio analysis of existing portfolios;
- Preparing pitching material for institutional investors.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the NPL industry, at least 3 years;
- Previous experience in banking/ deals/ transactions in Consulting Firms;
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills and report writing in developing financial models to support performance analysis will be considered an advantage;
- Strong analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills;
- Strong attention to detail with a logical and methodical approach;
- Comfortable working in high pressure environments and on an agile delivery plan;
- Strong project management skills;
- Firm command of the English language, excellent oral and written communication skills;
- CFA/ACA/ACCA or similar financial qualification will be considered a plus; and
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Business Administration.
