The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) group is looking for multiple Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst to join our Flight Test and Evaluation team in Edwards AFB, CA; located approximately 100 miles northeast of Los Angeles, CA.
Edwards AFB is the home of the 412th Test Wing and the 2nd largest Air Force base. The wing oversees base day-to-day operations and provides support for over 10,000 military, federal civilian and contract personnel assigned to a 481-square mile installation. The 412th Test Wing plans, conducts, analyzes, and reports on all flight and ground testing of aircraft, weapons systems, software and components as well as modeling and simulation for the U.S. Air Force. There are three core components for this mission: flying operations, maintenance and engineering.
The Boeing Company supports multiple platforms at Edwards AFB. This posting is for the support of the 419th Flight Test Squadron, Bomber Combined Test Force (CTF), which flight tests B-1B, B-52 and B-2 Bombers where Boeing works directly with our Air Force customer and our industry partners supporting its mission to improve the warfighting capabilities of the Air Force through system integration, development, test and evaluation of the B-1B Lancer and B-52 Stratofortress.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Maintenance Operations Planning Analyst.
Position Responsibilities:
Creating aircraft specific work packages and sequencing of events to meet ground and flight test commitments supporting installation shipside as needed
Support team performance by participating in process/tool improvement projects
Conducts activities to validate aircraft, parts and materials are scheduled and routed per plan. Submit requests for processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements
Reconciles Investigates, document and assist in resolving installations related issues
Assists in the review, maintenance, and monitoring of processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements
Support manufacturing build with liaison and support
Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years’ experience reading and interpreting blueprints and drawings
3+ years’ experience working with and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives
3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Project)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Experience in manufacturing one or more of the following areas: Mechanical, Electrical Integration, Aircraft structures, Composites Assembly
Experience with B-1B and/or B-52 Aircraft
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
