Based in our state of the art Letterkenny office on a hybrid basis, this is an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of financial operations, supporting both our Irish and Luxembourg entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in core accounting processes while also contributing to broader initiatives and projects that drive operational excellence.</p><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2>What you can expect</h2><ul><li>Manage the <b>Accounts Payable</b> function for PGIM Luxembourg, including invoice and payment processing, and posting of accruals journals.</li><li>Ensure timely and accurate <b>intercompany invoicing</b> on a monthly and quarterly basis, in line with corporate deadlines.</li><li>Respond to <b>Accounts Receivable and Payable</b> queries efficiently and professionally.</li><li>Prepare and submit <b>VAT returns</b> for PGIM Luxembourg.</li><li>Maintain the <b>Fixed Assets register</b> for PGIM Luxembourg.</li><li>Assist in the preparation of <b>quarterly financials</b>, including journal entries and account reconciliations for both entities.</li><li>Support the preparation and review of <b>intercompany accounts</b> and <b>annual statutory accounts</b> for <span>both Irish and Lux entities.</span></li><li>Contribute to the development of <b>internal financial reports</b> and liaise with <b>external auditors</b> during the annual audit process of <span>both entities.</span></li><li>Participate in <b>ad hoc projects and initiatives</b>, offering valuable input and gaining exposure to various aspects of the finance function <span>in both entities.</span></li></ul><p></p><h2>What you will bring</h2><ul><li>Currently pursuing a relevant <b>accounting qualification</b>, with a degree in business, finance, or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of <b>2 years’ experience</b> in a finance or accounting role.</li><li>Proficiency in using <b>computerised financial systems</b>; experience with <b>Oracle Financials</b> is a plus.</li><li>A <b>self-starter</b> with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.</li><li>Exceptional <b>attention to detail</b> and a commitment to accuracy.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What will set you apart?</h2><ul><li>Strong <b>Microsoft Office</b> skills, particularly Excel.</li><li>Solid understanding of <b>monthly reconciliations</b> and a keen eye for identifying process improvement opportunities.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>*PGIM welcomes all applicants, even if you don't meet every requirement.
