Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor degree (foreign equivalent or higher). In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an Associates degree (foreign equivalent or higher) and Three (3) years of full-time experience in clinical trials research, research database management, and working with Institutional Review Board may be considered. One (1) year of full-time experience in clinical trials research, research database management, and working with Institutional Review Board. Experience with clinical research protocols. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Redcap, Excel and/or PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Institutional Review Board submission protocols. Experience with data processing. Experience working with an electronic database. Experience working with study participants and consenting patients.
Brief Description of Duties:
The Clinical Research Assistant will assist with research studies. They may interact directly with study participants. The Clinical Research Assistant will coordinate scheduled visits with other research team members. They will also assist with maintaining the integrity of collected data in an electronic database and assist with maintaining the study protocol documents and compliance with all Institutional Review Board policies. The successful incumbent must have excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and time-management skills.
Duties:
Accompany participants as needed.
Assist with data processing.
Complete case report forms.
Conduct tests on study participants.
Schedule and coordinate the participant appointments.
Collect, organize and maintain data in an electronic database.
Assist with participant recruitment.
Assist with maintaining study protocol documents and IRB compliance. Communication with Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Organize and maintain clinical information and records which may be related to multiple studies.
Ship lab samples
Other Duties as assigned.

The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Non-Exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
