As a Facilities Project Administrator, you’ll be at the forefront of modifying and maintaining critical infrastructure and business partner facilities.  No two days will be the same as you lead a diverse team in executing small to large-scale projects. 

Your role will involve leading projects from beginning to end, communicating with stakeholders along the way, and ensuring the successful delivery of the project scope, schedule, and cost.  You’ll be involved in every step of the process, from contractor selection to overseeing contractor activities to closing out all project documentation.  Compliance with Boeing and regulatory standards will be a top priority, ensuring that all projects meet city, county, state, and federal requirements.

Position Responsibilities:   

  • Develop work package that can include budget/funding source, schedule, drawings, specifications, statement of work, procurement, and estimates

  • Ensure that project implementation meets established quality, cost, schedule targets, and regulatory requirements

  • Work with affected parties to create an implementation plan

  • Ensure completion and retention of project records by following the standard operating procedure for closure and update of appropriate documents, forms, permits, work management systems, commissioning, and as-built drawings

  • Monitor and coordinate implementation activities such as relocations, construction, utility shutdowns, budget management, schedule, and project reviews

  • Coordinate support functions such as vendors, security, fire protection, and network infrastructure, and verifies compliance with project documents

  • Read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading and specifications)

  • Knowledge of facilities requirements analysis, facilities planning, facilities design standards and specifications, building codes, and facilities evaluation techniques and methodologies in support of project planning, deployment, and on-going support

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing projects

  • 3+ years of experience with project cost management

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Project 

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering presentations to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience in Facilities Project Management or Construction Management

  • Experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems 

  • Experience using AutoCAD or similar CAD package

  • Project Management (PMP) or other industry certification
