Responsibilities
Act as point of contact and liaison for IT Infrastructure on assigned projects and be the conduit for information flow related to IT Infrastructure.
Develop cost estimates for the IT Infrastructure scope of the projects.
Build the schedule of activities for the IT Infrastructure scope of the projects and provide updates on a regular basis.
Facilitate weekly status meetings and issue minutes, produce weekly status reports, and provide updates in higher-level weekly status meetings.
Facilitate or participate in ad hoc meetings and workshops to drive progress on activities, issue resolution, decision making, etc.
Document, track, and escalate actions, risks, issues, and challenges related to IT Infrastructure.
Plan and facilitate procurement of IT Infrastructure elements within sphere of responsibility.
Collaborate on the write-up of project phase documentation deliverables (e.g., Basis of Design).
Be an advocate and champion for a digital enabling IT Infrastructure.
Knowledge and Experience
Knowledge and/or experience in most of the following is required:
Leading project teams.
Technical project management.
Physical implementation of IT Infrastructure elements (network hardware, server hardware, computer and telecom rooms, network cabling, etc.).
Logical networking.
Virtualized computing infrastructure.
Knowledge and/or experience in some of the following would be an asset:
Manufacturing facility construction.
Process automation infrastructure.
Manufacturing IT/OT.
Data Center construction or engineering.
Electrical systems in manufacturing environments.
Manufacturing operational environments.
GxP environments.
Hazardous environments.
Skills
The following skills are required:
Excellent planning, prioritization & organization skills.
Good leadership, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to build strong network of colleagues and partners.
Strong in cost estimating and scheduling.
Proficient in technical writing.
Ability to build rapport with a diverse global workforce in a multicultural setting.
Fluent verbal & written English.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience
Able to travel up to 25% of the time.
