Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A

Position Summary:
Regal Rexnord is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst, Senior to join our Industrial Powertrain Solutions (IPS) segment finance team. This role is based at our Milwaukee Headquarters and reports directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week in the office.
This role will be instrumental in supporting Regal Rexnord’s shared segment spend and allocation processes, with a strong emphasis on reporting, process enhancement, and simplification. The successful candidate will play a key role in the annual operating plan (AOP) process, financial analysis, and tool development to support decision-making across the IPS segment. This is a high-visibility role with regular interaction across divisional and segment leadership, and it offers excellent opportunities for professional growth within a global, publicly traded manufacturing organization.
Major Responsibilities:
- Leads the consolidated shared segment spend reporting and allocation process for the IPS segment
- Leads the development and enhancement of financial reporting tools and dashboards, with a focus on simplification and efficiency using an 80/20 mindset
- Support the annual operating plan (AOP) process for both shared segment spend and the overall segment-level rollup as well as the annual 3-year strategic plan
- Works with functional executive leadership teams to facilitate monthly meetings on spending, monitor pacing to budget, and act as a partner for business case analysis
- Explains actual spending to management, develops forward looking forecasts for the department(s), and recommends corrective actions when spending deviates from plan
- Perform ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Collaborate with divisional finance teams and partnership with segment executive leadership to understand and communicate financial results and trends through the monthly financial reporting process
- Support the company-wide implementation of OneStream, including data validation, reporting structure alignment, and process integration
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate accounting policies
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably within a large, publicly traded manufacturing company
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
- Demonstrated experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization
- Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with Power Query is a plus
- Experience with OneStream, HFM, SAP, Oracle ERP, and Power BI strongly preferred
- CPA, CMA, or MBA designation preferred
Travel: IPS segment is a Global Business. Some travel to locations is expected. Estimate 5%
