Who You Are

The Senior Translational Scientist is a highly motivated and experienced professional bringing a strong background in translational research, with a focus on bridging the gap between laboratory discoveries and clinical applications. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement translational strategies that drive the development of novel therapeutics.

How You Contribute

• Collaborate with preclinical and clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of research findings into clinical development plans.
• Assist Clinical Development to develop strategies to aid in patient stratification.
• Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify biomarkers.
• Support immunology, pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies.
• Prepare and present scientific reports, publications, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in translational research and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.

What You Bring to the Team

Education & Experience

• Ph.D. in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., molecular biology, pharmacology, biochemistry) with 5+ years of translational research experience.

Competencies

• Experience in complex biological programs.  AAV gene therapy experience is a plus.
• Proven track record of successful translational research projects and publications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of successful clinical research projects and publications.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial design, conduct, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
• Experience with immunology, biomarker, bioanalytical discovery, and clinical trial support is highly desirable.

Working Conditions

• Primarily desk-based, generally in an office or home office setting.
• Involves extended periods of sitting and computer use.
