This entails accurate and efficient payroll operations, working with HR, Accounting, external partners, and driving exceptional employee experience. Candidate will be part of our payroll team and is expected to assist with our payroll system implementation, regular payroll processes as well as special payroll projects for a growing organization and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment. <h3>The Role: </h3> <ul> <li>Assist with regular payroll process and ensue high degree of accuracy</li><li>Ensure proper documentation of processes and work performed</li><li>Anticipate, assess, and manage issues and risks</li><li>Quickly resolve issues when they arise; address the root cause and recommend mitigation plans</li><li>Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies</li><li>Ensure data accuracy and process integrity</li><li>Collaborate closely with other teams on cross-functional payroll matters</li><li>Work closely with selected vendor and its in-country partners for successful payroll system implementation</li><li>Assist with launch of payroll in various European countries</li><li>Assist with special payroll projects</li></ul> <h3></h3> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience</li><li>3-7 years of experience in payroll operations in Europe</li><li>Knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements in relation to taxation and other statutory obligations in multiple European countries is a plus (main countries are the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, France and Belgium)</li><li>Experience with multi country payroll portals/providers is a plus</li><li>Experience with payroll system implementation is preferred</li><li>Experience with HRIS (payroll, operations, benefits, immigration, etc.) preferred</li><li>Demonstrated ability to support operations</li><li>Excellent written and oral communication in English.
