We are seeking an Operations Manager Energy to join our team in our Paducah, KY Office.

How will you contribute to the team?  

• Manages the Paducah site utilities and other functions in order to provide the Paducah site tenants with reliable service such that it enables the other site contractors to fulfill their respective missions.

• Responsible for Water systems – these are licensed and permitted systems that treat raw river water from the Ohio River.

• Responsible for Sewer Systems and associated treatment plants.

• Responsible for Electrical Service to include switchyard operations, and Natural gas service.

• Responsible for Plant Steam via operation of package boilers.

• Integrates site schedules with all the site contractors via Shared Site Services Committee.

• Oversees a large organization of professionals and bargaining unit personnel that operate and maintain the site utilities for the entire Paducah site.

• Manages an organization of 110 personnel.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

What will you contribute?  

• Requires a BS degree, and a MS degree in business or related field of study is preferred.

• Requires 15 years’ experience in management of operations or maintenance of Plant equipment, management of work control, and spare parts management. 

• 20 years’ experience in management of operations or maintenance of Plant equipment, management of work control and spare parts management preferred.

• Must have experience managing bargaining unit personnel.

• Requires experience with efficient management of a large organization. 

• Must be skilled at negotiating with unions on grievances and CBA’s. 

• Must be capable of integrating competing site priorities into a single sitewide schedule that supports the mission of other DOE contractors.

• Must be a U.S citizen in order to be considered.
