Concessions Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Concessions Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the concessions team in their daily operations, including assisting with food preparation, guest interactions, inventory, and more.  Additionally, train and support team members to ensure products and services are delivered beyond expectations. 

As part of our team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. Your professionalism and helpful attitude will set the tone for a positive overall impression of the Kalahari.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to the concession venue’s recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards.
• Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance of facility, and sanitation and cleanliness through training of associates and creating a positive, productive working environment.
• Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures in accordance with restaurant/concession and resort policies and procedures.
• Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations are met daily.

What We’re Looking For

• Excellent organizational, problem solving, supervisory and time management skills required.
• Must have multi-task skills and experience to implement large group activities that require the coordination of numerous services.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management, and guests.
