Senior Manager - Operations Management Consulting, Chemicals - France

This role is home-based in France but will require frequent client travel, potentially up to 4 days per week.

What will you do?

Focusing on the Chemicals industry, you will:

• Develop new business and manage existing accounts 
• Discover opportunities to make our clients safer, more productive and more sustainable
• Lead teams of experienced consultants and subject matter experts to identify the root causes of client safety and / or operational challenges by analyzing a range of metrics and observations, and create, communicate and implement solutions
• Work directly with the client identifying pain points and developing and implementing effective solutions to meet their needs
• Develop your own and your team’s work plans, mobilizing the team to deliver effectively
• Work with members of your team to build their capabilities and deliver better value to the client
• Manage project delivery to ensure projects deliver the intended benefits. 

Requirements

Who are you?

• You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering / EHS  / Business 

• You have experience in management consulting with previous exposure to safety, operational risk management and / or operational excellence
• You demonstrate deep knowledge of the Chemicals or Oil & Gas sector
• You have demonstrated the ability to sell complex operations consulting services at C-level with large industrial clients
• You have the ability to manage diverse and remote teams of consultants and guide them to achieve business and client objectives
• You are able to manage complex projects from end to end for small or large engagements
• You're a thought leader. Able to leverage your knowledge to identify themes, trends and challenges within the sector and then to guide clients and create talking points
• You speak fluent French and English but are comfortable communicating and working with a wide range of cultures and nationalities (additional European languages are a significant advantage)
• You have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Like us.
