Shift Schedule:

This opportunity is a full-time and benefits-eligible position.

Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday

Hours are 4pm to 2:30am (10-hour shift)

 

Job Purpose and Overview

As a Shipper/Receiver, you will participate in the manufacturing warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of products to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation.

 

What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?  

Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.   

• Safe operation of forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, and hand jack
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Verbal communication

 

What will you do as a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods? 

• Check delivery paperwork and unload ingredients and packaging from suppliers.
• Perform shipping/receiving process to comply with IFS Audits.
• Scan ingredients into SAP System and store in appropriate areas.
• Inform purchasing team of any discrepancies in delivery.
• Use hand- held scanner to track all ingredients and packaging in and out.               
• Clean as you go, maintain cleanliness of area.
• Complies with all plant policies, procedures, and practices.
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards foe warehouse sanitation.
• Correctly select; palletize and shrink-wrap customer order preparing them for delivery.
• Use FIFO inventory usage. Rotate and replenish current stocks in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion.
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus
