Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable Physician Assistant with a polished and professional manner to actively engage in MIORA, Life Time’s Longevity and Performance Clinic. This medical professional role requires passion coupled with an understanding of longevity science, preventive medicine, and performance optimization.
As a key member of our medical staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating patients and developing personalized treatment plans, with a primary focus on:
• Integrative Medicine
• Bio-identical hormone therapy
• Weight Loss
• Wellness Technology
• Nutritional and IV therapies
• Exercise and nutrition
• Facial Rejuvenation
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the need for hormone replacement therapy and peptide interventions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, lab results, and specific health goals.
- Administer hormone replacement therapy, including the prescription and monitoring of peptides, while ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current on the latest advancements in hormone replacement therapy, peptide science, and related medical research.
- Educate patients on the benefits and risks of hormone replacement therapy, ensuring informed decision-making.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and follow-up appointments.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in healthcare, ensuring patient confidentiality and privacy.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education:
- Medical degree
Years of Experience:
Licenses / Certifications / Registrations:
- Active licensure as a healthcare provider
- Certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Functional Medicine Training/Modules and certifications from A4M preferred.
- Certification or additional training in peptide therapy.
- Familiarity with innovative treatment modalities and emerging therapies.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and personalized medicine.
- Experience and efficiency in the clinical assessment and management of patients.
- According to established protocols, conducts clinical assessment of the patient’s healthcare status, needs and provides patient care to facilitate expected patient outcomes.
- Provide counseling and education to patients to enhance patient care.
- Documents care provided to support the continuity of patient care and optimum patient outcomes.
