Responsibilities:

• Diligently maintains a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and guests.
• Coordinates production activities with all departments in the plant to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
• Directly supervises and mentors production supervisors.
• Reviews and analyzes production, quality, and operational reports to insure plant KPI’s are being met; and implements correct actions accordingly
• Manages and actively seeks to reduce all forms of waste and cost related to production
• Assures conformance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and HSE requirements.
• Works with the materials department to plan production schedules and forecast labor needs
• Assists the HR department in all personnel issues related to production employees including hiring, evaluation, promotion, conflict resolution, and when required, reprimands or termination.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field or applicable on-the-job training
• Three or more years of experience in manufacturing operations
• Proficient in Microsoft office products
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
