Field Supervisor I

Job Summary:   

 This position supervises independent technicians in the field using a company provided vehicle. 

 

Job Responsibilities:  

-Responsible for and knowledgeable in the correct, safe, and efficient locating of underground utilities including telecommunications, electric power, cable TV, gas, water and sewer systems 

-Adept at supervising and instructing technicians in thoroughly searching for underground utilities in a designated area, properly marking the location, completing the necessary paperwork, and photographing each locate 

-Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather conditions and using a company provided laptop and/or tablet to document services and problems 

-Experienced at working directly with customers and resolving problems in a professional manner 

-Enthusiastic, self-motivated, safety conscious, and independent

 

Salary Range:

$60,000 to $80,000

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

-1 years of experience as a utility locator required. 

-Prior supervisory experience preferred. 

-21 years of age or older. 

-Valid driver's license. 

-Clean driving record. 

 

Position Requirements: 

-Experience with various brands of locating equipment. 

-Working experience of underground construction and fiber builds. 

-City, County and State clearance code knowledge and related. 

-Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather and work overtime as required. 

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong command of the English language is required
