Job Description
We seek a confident and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at our corporate headquarters in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The candidate will prepare general ledger journal entries and analyze and reconcile various available ledger accounts. Specific areas of emphasis relate to airport concession calculations, reporting, audit follow-up, and sales tax calculations and reporting.
You will:
Prepare journal entries
Compile supporting financial statements and documents
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
Upload consolidated financial statements into SAP
Respond to inquiries from regulatory agencies
Perform tax research, staying up to date on changes
Analyze variances from the budget to the actual
Provide accounting-related support and communications between accounting and other departments within Europcar Mobility Group, USA
Implement process improvements
Prepare local property tax filings and coordinate property tax payments with Accounts Payable; monitor changes to fixed assets and deactivation of existing or opening of new locations to communicate with local taxing authorities
Other duties as assigned
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Experience:
CPA strongly preferred
IFRS knowledge helpful
Securitization experience is a plus
International cross-border transaction experience / specific tax return (W8Ben) preferred
Tax preparation experience
Experience with bookkeeping software, Great Plains, and SAP, preferred
Skills/Abilities:
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Advanced/Expert Excel skills are a must
Google Sheets and Google Docs knowledge, a plus
