Description

Director of Nursing Position in Americus, GA Area
must have extensive experience as a Registered Nurse so they can better train and mentor the Nurses who work below them. They should also have strong leadership and supervisory abilities as they’re often providing guidance and support to everyone on their nursing team. Interviewing/walkthrough nursing candidates.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise nursing staff to provide optimal patient care

- Uphold inmate rights and ensure compliance with all regulations

- Utilize in-depth physiology knowledge to guide nursing practices

- Lead nursing administration functions within the facility

- Coordinate nurse management activities for efficient operations

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in nursing management

- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
