UX Manager - Acton, Mass. or San Diego, CA (Hybrid)

We are investing heavily to create a design organization to support the right experience, at the right time, that is scalable to the level of growth we expect. We need a dedicated UX Manager drive the vision and process to get us there.

The UX Manager will be responsible to work closely with senior design leadership and cross-functional members of the development and planning teams to ensure a world-class customer experience is designed and delivered. In addition the UX Manager will ensuring a scalable, global implementation of a design team to meet future business needs.  The goal for this role will support the UX Sr. Manager and Sr. Director in executing best in class customer service UX experiences for Insulet.  

UX Manager Responsibilities: 

• Serve as the point of contact and accountability for the UX design and execution of Omnipod 5 and related products 

• Provide UX guidance to execute the process mission, vision, roadmap, tactics, goals, objectives, and KPIs and ensure alignment with business strategic imperatives 

• Manage workload, mentoring, and upskilling of UX design staff 

• Conduct staff reviews and leveling as needed 

• Collaborate regularly with the Product Development and Marketing teams to deliver class user experiences and with other UX franchise teams to create a holistic customer experience 

• Collaborate regularly with others in the UX team: User Research, UX Content, Instructional Design, Human Factors, and Translation to plan and organize work 

• Ability to build and manage a multidisciplinary UX team working in an agile development environment with multiple integrations 

• Ensure all business process requirements are documented, comply with regulations, and partner with Data Management, Quality and IT to define and implement validation / integration testing processes as required 

• Collaborate with other global business process owners regarding release management, cross process development & testing dependencies, risks, adoption, and communications 

• Support cross functional adoption, deployment, and communication efforts associated to process change deployments 

• Anticipates functional needs, identifies necessary resources, manages risk, and determines creative means to implement new & innovative technical (through collaboration with IT) & process solutions
