Job Description

Razorfish is seeking a Sr. Data & Analytics Analyst to join the web analytics team currently supporting one of our large technology clients. Candidates should be proficient in digital/website KPI frameworks, reporting, insight, and analysis. Day-to-day tools include Adobe Analytics, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, and Tableau.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid role requiring onsite collaboration an average of 3 days/week. All candidates must be local to the New York City metro area and willing to commute to our Hudson Street office on a regular basis. Occasional onsite work at our client’s offices in Ridgefield Park, NJ may also be required.

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze website performance data (overall trends, clickstream, pathing, UX) to generate meaningful, actionable insights to support paid media decision-making for a prominent ecommerce site.
  • Develop standard reporting deliverables as well as ad-hoc analyses as needed to unearth page, experience, media, or audience learnings.
  • Perform statistical analyses for websites and/or marketing campaigns, such as calculating statistical significance, distributions, etc.
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to develop, evolve, and interpret new ways of looking at and analyzing data.
  • Meet with and present to client teams to communicate findings, deliver insights, and make recommendations.
  • Support ETL and dashboarding workstreams as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior professional experience working within data analytics and reporting in a large, complex corporate environment; experience working within an advertising agency or consulting environment strongly preferred.
  • Prior professional experience supporting or working in close partnership with digital media or website design and development teams.
  • Outstanding quantitative reasoning abilities and experience.
  • Strong Adobe/Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel skills as well as an ability to build dashboards in Tableau.
  • Experience developing and pulling reports related to website analytics.
  • Ability to understand, parse, and interpret data and turn raw information into meaningful and actionable insights.
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations using PowerPoint.
  • Very strong oral and written communication skills with a natural ability to tell a story.
  • High degree of comfort presenting both within internal/team meetings and externally directly to clients.
  • Nimble and flexible mindset; comfortable with ambiguity and constantly evolving goals and shifting process.
  • Familiarity with website design, site usability, and site testing preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of website tagging, tag management systems, or media tagging including tools like Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, etc. preferred.
  • General knowledge related to paid/owned media campaigns and audience segmentation preferred.
