Job Duties
Direct Support to Delegate(s) – Primary Duties:
• Present a positive first impression for the Delegate’s office; be a cordial and helpful gate keeper to visitors/lobbyists; display pleasant phone interactions; take accurate messages for each Delegate and execute administrative duties as assigned by the Delegate’s Legislative Assistant.
• Administrative tasks may include (but are not limited to): maintain Delegate’s calendar; process mail; create/review/correct spreadsheets for mailings; prepare constituent letters and honor roll letters/certificates; prepare mail merges; maintain filing systems; schedule group visits; reserve conference rooms; create and maintain data bases; order office supplies, publications, forms; respond to invitations.
• Collaborate with Document Support Services to complete larger mailings.
Document Support Services – Primary Duties:
• Process mass mailings by merging and printing a variety of constituent letters; honor roll letters and honor roll certificates.
• Enter data from delegate survey results.
• Serve as short-term substitute supporting a Delegate office when needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge, Experience & Skills Used in Positions:
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

This is a seasonal/hourly/temporary position with a start date of January 3, 2025 and end date of February 21, 2025. No discretionary time off is permitted.
Mandatory training dates: December 10-12, 2024.
