Job Summary/Basic Functions

Dual Credit Instructor of Chemistry dual credit courses for Mercer County Senior High School.

Dual Credit Instructors are credentialed high school teachers approved by Eastern Kentucky University (EKU) academic departments to teach EKU courses on-site at their high school. These instructors deliver college-level content aligned with EKU curriculum standards, ensuring academic integrity, instructional rigor, and a consistent student experience. Dual Credit Instructors serve as the primary instructor of record and are responsible for delivering the course curriculum in accordance with EKU policies and expectations.

Instructors must meet EKU and SACSCOC faculty credential requirements and must be formally approved by the corresponding EKU academic department.
