Position Summary
CVS Health has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Director, IAM Engineering Support to join our dynamic team! As the Lead Director you will be responsible for leading one of the Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineering teams in Identity & Access Management within CVS Health’s Information Security and Technology Solutions (ISTS) organization. You will be responsible to defining, building and operating a large Engineering Support function to support existing and upcoming IAM technologies and deliver value to the enterprise.
You will be a leader with an exceptional track record in IAM and should have a good understanding of IAM technologies, concepts, policies, processes, best practices, and solutions. You should also be knowledgeable about broader information security functions, including how IAM Engineering Support respond and mitigate emerging threats. You will have experience leading and developing large teams and demonstrated experience driving successful engineering support initiatives building enterprise tools and solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the IAM Engineering Support function for all of CVS businesses
- Build and establish the operating model for the Engineering Support function including production support for the enterprise identity management, access management and access governance/ reporting solutions
- Collaborate with IAM Engineering team in standing up modern cutting edge IAM technologies/ tools and establish the appropriate technical operations support
- Build a strong working relationship with wide variety of stakeholders and their leadership teams the function interacts with on a daily basis
- Advise and support IAM management initiatives and collaborate with the various IAM teams in support of building modern IAM tools
- Collaborate with larger Infosec/ IT Operations teams in managing security incidents and emerging threats
- Partner with the respective teams to ensure proper change and release management controls are implemented for existing and new IAM systems
- Hire, develop and continuously mature an experienced and diverse IAM Engineering Support team
- Drive a culture of Agile/DevOps for the delivery and support of IAM solutions
- Participate in the roadmap and strategic planning with IAM leadership
- Stay current on security technology and trends in the IAM space
- Work closely with key stakeholders and partners to drive the implementation of the overall IAM strategy
- The successful candidate will be experienced in managing and leading large IAM teams for a large enterprise and have knowledge of IAM protocols and standards.
- The successful candidate will also have the ability to drive the Engineering Support function forward, develop a high performing team, and have stakeholder management skills with exceptional communication skills.
- Assist with defining and enforcing IAM policies, and control standards aligned with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, etc) and industry best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
- Define, document and drive the enforcement of internal governance models, processes and procedures to mature identity lifecycle management, access reviews, role-based access control (RBAC), and privileged access management (PAM).
- Continuously assess IAM-related risks/ gaps and drive the remediation efforts to deploy controls to mitigate identity security risks
- Lead audit readiness and response efforts, including evidence collection and remediation of findings.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of information technology experience
- 3+ years of people leadership experience developing, managing and training of staff in an IAM technology operations space
- 8+ years of IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of DevOps principles
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (High School Diploma and 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$144,200.00 - $288,400.00
